Underground Construction
Underground placement of utilities can be accomplished via a number of different technologies depending on the conditions at the site. We can tailor a solution to your needs and budget.

Excavating
Simply put: dig a hole, place your pipe or utility, and cover it back up. Depending on the location, this can be accomplished with machine excavators or by hand.
Plowing
Using a vibratory blade that slices through the ground, pipe and utilities can be directly buried in the ground.
Horizontal Directional Drilling
Using advanced machinery, a bore head can be steered underground horizontally and vertically along a path that can extend for hundreds of feet to avoid any surface and subsurface obstructions. A pipe can then be pulled back through the bore without any surface interaction except where the bore head enters and exist the ground.
Trenching
A machine trencher can quickly dig a path to lay a pipe or utility underground, which is then backfilled.
Missile Boring or Stitch Boring
Some sites require great care with minimal surface disturbance, such as in a freshly-sodded yard. Using this method, a small section of sod (or other surface layer) is carefully cut out and placed to the side. A pit is dug at this location, and a “missile” is placed in the pit which pounds its way through the earth to another pit dug in the same manner. A pipe can then be pulled back through the bore.
